A servo valve is a high-precision electrohydraulic control valve that converts a small electrical command into accurately regulated hydraulic flow, pressure, or direction. It typically uses a torque motor or force motor, pilot stage, metering spool, and internal or external feedback to achieve very fine control.

Servo valves are designed for fast dynamic response, low hysteresis, high resolution, and repeatable closed-loop performance. How does a hydraulic servo valve work?

A servo valve converts an electrical command into controlled movement of a pilot element and metering spool. The resulting port openings regulate hydraulic flow and pressure to an actuator, while mechanical or electrical feedback improves accuracy and stability.

What is the difference between a servo valve and a proportional valve?

A servo valve generally offers higher response, resolution, and closed-loop precision, but it is also more sensitive to contamination and often more expensive. A proportional valve is usually more robust and economical for applications that do not require servo-level performance.

Why is fluid cleanliness critical for a servo valve?

Servo valves contain very small clearances and precision metering edges. Contamination can obstruct pilot passages, cause spool sticking, increase leakage, damage surfaces, and change null or response, so fine filtration and strict oil-cleanliness control are essential.

What information is needed to select a servo valve?

Specify rated flow, pressure, port configuration, command signal, frequency response, hysteresis, threshold, internal or external pilot supply, feedback type, fail-safe behavior, fluid, filtration level, temperature, mounting pattern, and required position, velocity, force, or pressure performance.

Can you customize products, and is there a minimum order quantity?

Absolutely. We provide OEM/ODM services and can manufacture according to your samples or technical drawings. Yes, there is a minimum order quantity, but it is flexible. Spare parts often have an MOQ of 1 piece, while complete pumps or motors vary by model—please inquire for details.

How quickly can you deliver products, and what shipping methods are available?

For in-stock items, we can ship within 3 days. For custom or non-stock items, delivery usually takes 7–15 days. We’ll confirm exact timing based on current inventory. We offer flexible shipping via express carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) and sea freight (CIF/FOB). We can also deliver to your designated freight forwarder in China.

We are a hybrid—both a manufacturer and a trading company. We produce our own products and also source specific components to offer complete solutions. We follow strict quality control protocols. All parts undergo CNC machining and heat treatment, and each is 100% tested before delivery to guarantee precision and reliability.

What payment methods do you accept, and what is the warranty period?

We accept T/T, L/C, Western Union, Alibaba Trade Assurance, and VISA. For new customers, we usually require full prepayment or a 30% deposit with the balance due before shipment. All products come with a 1-year warranty, provided they are installed and operated under normal conditions.
